- Dress well. Be comfortable and look professional in business casual or business formal clothes.
- Communicate clearly: When talking, pronounce your words clearly and avoid talking too fast. Take brief pauses to ensure the interviewer has finished speaking before responding. If you are providing written answers, take the time to make sure they are coherent, and run a quick spellcheck, if you can.
- Engage: If it’s comfortable for you, engage with the interviewer by nodding, smiling and using appropriate gestures. Maintain eye contact or look directly at the camera. Avoid looking at your own video feed or other distractions on the screen.
